An official accompanist is not provided by the Festival.

However, the following accompanists may
be available if given at least 2 weeks’ notice. Please contact them direct. Please note that this is a private arrangement. Rehearsal and performance fees are in accordance with the guidelines given by the British and International Federation of Festivals and should be paid direct to the accompanist.

MINI GRANTS FOR ACCOMPANIST FEES FOR YOUNG MUSICIANS!
Are you a young musician preparing to perform at this year’s Reigate & Redhill Festival, and need help with the cost of an accompanist? Robert Bouffler Music Trust can help with the cost! The Trust will consider requests for mini-grants to help young musicians to pay for accompaniment costs. We expect most of our grants to be around £20 – £35.

If you live or go to school in East Surrey/Tandridge, and would like to apply for a mini-grant up to £35 then send an email to the Trust’s Hon. Secretary at barbara@rbmt.org.uk, giving brief details of your address, school attended, the category you are entering, and the name and email address of your accompanist (as the Trust will pay them directly).

The Robert Bouffler Music Trust deed says that when considering requests for support, preference should be ‘given to families of limited means’, so we hope that applicants will respect this and only apply where there is a genuine need for support.
